We understand that individuals with disabilities often face unique challenges and barriers in their daily lives, and our goal is to provide the support, resources and creative solutions needed to help them overcome the obstacles. HandiCapable is a non-profit foundation dedicated to helping and empowering individuals with disabilities. There is a great need for assistance within the disabled community and HandiCapable aims to focus on creative and personal solutions to uplift and inspire.

To empower individuals to contribute to the upliftment of the disabled community in South Africa through media, music and entertainment, to promote inclusivity and break down barriers to create a more equitable society.

A South Africa where the disabled community is fully included and celebrated in all aspects of society, through innovative and inclusive media, music and personal solutions that uplift communities, change perceptions and break down barriers.

Concerning Statistics

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), approximately 15% of the global population, or over 1 billion people, live with disabilities, with a higher prevalence in low- and middle-income countries such as South Africa. 

The Department of Social Development reports that there are over 2 million people with disabilities in South Africa, many of whom face significant barriers to accessing healthcare, employment, and education.

A study by the University of Cape Town found that the unemployment rate among people with disabilities in South Africa is over 50%, highlighting the need for targeted support and empowerment initiatives.
